Amazon Web Services Announces New Storage Option for S3 Clients
The Amazon Web Services Team has announced a new storage option for S3 customers known as Reduced Redunancy Storage (RRS).
So What, Who Cares?
RRS reduces costs by storing reproducible and non-critical data at lower redundancy levels than standard Amazon S3.
RRS is backed by Amazon S3’s Service Level Agreement.
May 26th will feature a webinar breaking down the details regarding RRS.
How Much Will It Cost?
Amazon S3 RRS starts at $0.10 per GB per month and decreases with the increase of data storage.
