Box.net Believes Collaboration Should Be Simple…Do You Agree?

In the ongoing marketing campaign being waged by Box.net entitled Box.net vs. SharePoint challenge, a video has emerged produced by Box.net which highlights the “ease of use” of Box.net and the various errors that average users encounter when attempting to utilize SharePoint such as authentication, complexity of simple tasks etc.

Box.net has enacted a viral strategy by establishing a Twitter Hashtag known as #sharepointblues to encourage SharePoint users to vent their frustrations and ultimately give the trial version of Box.net a test run. Box.net has offered to pay for a specified length of SharePoint if users are not satisfied with the trial offering.

Box.net is putting their money where their mouth is in the battle for enterprise 2.0 supremacy.

Box.net, the collaboration service has launched the “Box.net vs. SharePoint challenge”

Enterprises who sign up with Box.net for the free 14 day trial business edition. If businesses are not satisfied with the trial, then they get SharePoint paid for three months paid for.
